The End of This Chapter

When we opened Hümanette, we dreamed of creating a space that made everyday life just a little easier—and more joyful—for families. We dreamed of lattes next to laughter, of open-ended play, of gentle moments in a chaotic world. And we built it together with you.

Now, that chapter is coming to a close.

Our final day in our current location will be Sunday, September 28.

This is not a decision we made lightly. The reality is that, despite our love for this space and this community, we’ve been navigating increasing challenges behind the scenes and we’ve reached the point where continuing operations here would require compromising on the very standards and values we hold dear. After thoughtful exploration of all options, and ongoing negotiations with the property owner, we made the difficult decision to close this location in order to preserve the integrity of what Hümanette was built to be.

But this is not the end of Hümanette.

We’re not done. We’re dreaming bigger. Stronger. Smarter. Plans are already underway to bring Hümanette to at least one new location—and while we don’t have final announcements just yet, we can promise you this: We’ll be back.

And in the meantime: thank you. Thank you for believing in us. For letting us be part of your child’s early years, your parenting journey, your hard days and beautiful ones.

You’ve made Hümanette more than a business. You’ve made it a community. And we can’t wait to welcome you back when the next space is ready.
