Our last day of operations is Sunday, September 28, 2025.
Thank you for being part of our community. We know this news brings up a lot of questions—and we’re doing our best to answer them clearly and with care. Please read through the FAQs below, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you need more help.
We understand this may be disappointing. While we are unfortunately unable to issue full refunds, we are committed to doing what we can:
> Monthly Members:
You’ll continue to enjoy your full benefits through September 28. You won’t be charged again.
If your last payment was made within 14 days of our closure announcement, you may request a prorated refund by emailing hello@humanette.co.
> Annual Members:
We will reach out to you directly to discuss your options. Full refunds may not be feasible, but we’re committed to providing partial prorated refunds or rolling credits toward future offerings where possible. If you don’t hear from us within a few days, feel free to reach out.
All active members will receive early access and exclusive offers when we reopen in our future space.
Our small business model makes full reimbursement for all members unfeasible, but we are doing our best to ensure your support is honored now and in the next chapter.
Yes! Play Packs will remain valid through September 28, space permitting.
We recommend booking or dropping in as soon as possible.
Unused punches will not be refunded, but we will offer bonus passes or exclusive specials to play pass holders who sign up for our reopening waitlist and all unused passes will be honored in the future.
All events scheduled before September 28 will be honored as planned.
If you have an event booked after that date, we will reach out to you directly to discuss your options. While full refunds may not be possible in every case, we’ll do our best to work with each family fairly and transparently.
Gift cards can still be used through September 28 for play passes, drinks, snacks, or merchandise. After that date, remaining balances will not be refundable, but they will remain on file and may be transferred or reactivated when we reopen.
We are already working on plans for Hümanette 2.0—a new space (or spaces!) that reflect everything we’ve learned and loved about this first version. While we’re not able to share details just yet, we’re excited for what’s ahead and committed to serving families in Kansas City again very soon.
